The Challenge
As the business grew, managing supplier onboarding and payment verification became increasingly challenging. Manual processes made it time consuming to verify bank details, ensure compliance with GST and ABN requirements, and confidently approve payments. Before implementing Eftsure, onboarding new suppliers involved a manual, time-consuming process. Supplier forms were completed, and bank details were verified over the phone, offering little protection against fraud or data inaccuracies. There were no systems in place to verify key compliance elements such as ABNs and GST registration. This lack of visibility created risk and added significant workload to the Accounts Payable (AP) team.
